Method
1
Clean the asparagus by cutting 3cm off the ends.
TIP
While both thin and thick asparagus can be used, medium-thickness spears work best for stir-frying. They are sturdy enough to hold their shape but tender enough to cook quickly. If you are using thicker ones, you may want to slice them in half lengthwise to ensure they cook through evenly.
2
Cut the garlic into fine, thin slices.
3
Peel the ginger and cut it into thin slices and then into thin strips.
4
Brown the Lurpak® Soft in a wok with the garlic and ginger. When the garlic is golden, add the asparagus and fry for 1 minute. Add the oyster and soy sauce and toss until everything is well mixed.
TIP
Keep the heat high to get that slightly charred, smoky exterior on the asparagus while keeping it crisp. If the heat is too low, the green spears may turn soggy.
5
Serve immediately.
