The one trick to add any flavour to your buttercream

GO WILD, FLAVOUR LOVERS

Pick whatever flavour you fancy and make sure you add it at the same time as the milk to ensure a flavoursome and smooth buttercream. Coffee, lime, caramel, strawberry, dark chocolate… the list goes on. If the flavour you are adding is a liquid (e.g. coffee), then be sure to leave out the milk. Why not try a delicious lemony buttercream? Add 2 tbsps. of lemon juice followed by approx. 2 tbsps. of the lemon zest too.
