Pick whatever flavour you fancy and ensure to add it at the same time as adding the milk to ensure a flavoursome and smooth buttercream. Coffee, lime, caramel, strawberry, dark chocolate… the list goes on. If the flavour you are adding is liquid (eg. coffee), then be sure to leave out the milk. Why not try a delicious lemony buttercream? Add two tbsp. of lemon juice followed by approx. two tsp. of the lemon zest too.
