Pan-fried Mushrooms with Garlic and Thyme

  • Lurpak® Liquid
  • 350g white mushrooms, larger ones cut in half
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 4 tbsp. flat leaf parsley, roughly chopped
Pan-fried Mushrooms with Garlic and Thyme


Heat the Lurpak® Liquid in a large frying pan over a medium heat.

When the liquid starts bubbling, add the mushrooms and cook for 4-5 minutes until the mushrooms are golden. If the pan gets dry, add a little more Lurpak® Liquid.

Lower the heat and season the mushrooms with salt and pepper. Continue to cook for a further 2-3 minutes or until all the liquid evaporates. 

Add the garlic, thyme and lemon juice and cook for a further 1-2 minutes until the lemon juice is evaporated and the garlic golden.

Remove from the heat and stir in the flat leaf parsley and serve.
