Creamy Garlic Prawns

4 servings


  • 500g Prawns

  • 1/2 Cup Lurpak Butter

  • 2 Tbsp Garlic

  • 1 ½ Cups Cream

  • 1/3 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese , plus extra to serve

  • Juice from half a lemon

  • Lemon Slices

  • Salt & Pepper (to taste)

  • Fresh Herbs (for serving)


Creamy Garlic Prawns


  1. Place a pan over medium heat and add ¼ Cup Lurpak Butter.

  2. Allow the butter to melt, then add the prawns

  3. Cook the prawns for about 5-7 minutes or until pink.

  4. Remove the prawns from the heat and transfer to a bowl.

  5. Place the pan back on the stove over low-medium heat.

  6. Add the remaining Lurpak butter and allow it to melt.

  7. Add the garlic and fry for 1-2 minutes.

  8. Add the cream, salt and pepper and allow to simmer for a few minutes.

  9. Stir in the parmesan cheese and cook until fully incorporated.

  10. Remove the sauce from the heat and add the prawns to the sauce.

  11. Top lemon juice, extra parmesan, lemon slices and fresh herbs.
