Kabsa with Meat

1h 30 min 4-6 servings

50 gram of Lurpak unsalted butter


5 chopped onions


6 heads of garlic


1 kg of meat


4 medium size tomatoes


1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder 


2 cups of water


1 teaspoon of cumin


1 teaspoon of black pepper


1 teasmall spoon of salt


3 green chilis


4 teaspoons of tomato paste


Rice

Kabsa with Meat

Preparation

Melt the butter in a pot, and sautee the garlic and onions together. 

Add the meat and brown. 

To make the tomato sauce: put the tomatoes in a mixer, add water and blend to desired consistency


Add the tomato sauce and all the spices to the pot and mix.


Add the rice and Chickpeas then add water and leave it on low heat to cook until tender.



For the sauce, combine: 
1/2 cup of tahini, 
1 tomato - finely chopped,
 1 cucumber finely chopped, 
1/2 cup of water and 
1/4 cup of vinegar. 
Salt and black pepper to taste.
