Lentil Soup

Cup of yellow lentil
100g Lurpak Unsalted Butter
1 medium size onion
2 medium size potatoes
3 carrots
small spoon of cumin and black pepper
5 cups of boiled water
1 tablespoon of salt
½ tablespoon of turmeric

Lentil Soup

Preparation

  1. Wash the lentil, peel and cut the potatoes into cubes, peel and chop the carrots, peel and chop onion.
  2. Put the butter in a pan to heat. 
  3. In a pot add the lentil, potato, carrot, onion and mix all together. 
  4. Add the boiled water and leave it for 45 min then with a blender mix all together. 
  5. Return the mix to the pot again and add salt, pepper, cumin and turmeric, mix for 5 mins. 
  6. Then pour it in a bowl and for garnish add croutons and coriander.
