Apple pie

1 serving

Dough (300 grams):
100 g unsalted Butter (2 butter blocks)
75 g Sugar
A pinch of Salt
175 g all-purpose Flour
1 large Egg
Cooking mist
6 tablespoons of Apricot Jam
4 medium-sized apples
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon of icing sugar

In the bowl of a mixer, mix the sugar and butter (softened
Add the egg and flour and mix again until you get coarse dough
Roll the dough, wrap it with a film wrap and place it in the fridge for an hour
Roll out the dough (it’s okay if it’s coarse and doesn’t stick together, you can put the bits together in the tin)
Place it in a pie mold (greased) and poke it with a fork so that it doesn’t inflate, and cook it in a 180 degrees preheated oven for about 12 to 15 minutes


Slice the apples thinly
Place the apples on the half-baked dough
Spread the apricot jam evenly on the apples
Spray with cooking mist
Sprinkle with cinnamon and icing sugar
Cook in preheated oven (180 degrees) for 25 minutes or until the dough is golden
