Vegetables stir fry

(Accompaniment - Serves 4)

Ingredients

50 g / 2 oz LURPAK Slightly Salted Butter
300 g / 11 oz broccoli, cut into small florets
300 g / 11 oz red and yellow peppers, cut into short strips
200 g / 7 oz mild onion, halved, thin rings
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
100 ml / 4 fl oz cold water
1 tsp dark soya sauce
1 tsp corn starch
1/2 tsp salt
freshly ground pepper

Can be served to: Fry 4 beefburgers (125 g / 4 oz each) - and 240 g / 9 oz coarse bread and 50 ml / 2 fl oz dark soya sauce.
    

Instructions

Melt the butter in a deep frying pan or wok over a high heat, but without browning. Add vegetables and garlic and fry over a high heat for approx. 3 min. Toss the vegetables all the time. Stir together water, soya sauce and corn starch and pour it into the frying pan. Toss the vegetables and fry for approx. 2 min. or until the vegetables are tender but still crisp. Add salt and pepper and season. Serve immediately.
