(Cakes and biscuits - Makes 40)
Ingredients
125 g / 4 oz soft LURPAK Slightly Salted Butter
175 g / 6 oz sugar
2 medium-sized eggs
250 g / 9 oz plain flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp grated orange peel
100 g / 4 oz dark chocolate, chopped
50 g / 2 oz hazelnut kernels, chopped
150 ml / 1/4 pt whipping cream 35-38%
Icing
150 g / 5 oz icing sugar
2 1/2 tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice
Decoration: Small wedges of orange.
Baking time: Approx. 12 min. at 200ºC / 400ºF / Gas Mark 6.

Instructions
Beat the butter and sugar well together. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Beat well before the second egg is added. Mix the flour, baking powder, grated orange peel, chocolate and nuts. Fold it into the butter and sugar mixture in two batches with the cream. Distribute the mixture between 40 paper cases. Put them on a baking tray and bake in the center of the oven.
Icing: Stir the icing sugar and orange juice together, and spread it on the cold cakes.
Serving: Decorate the cakes with the orange wedges.
